Ambivalensi Subculture Punk Malang: Potret Komunitas tanpa Atribut dalam Negara Pancasila

Abstract

This article describes discrimination system process of Punk Malang subculture and the impact of identity negotiation which cause nomadic subjectivity in the implementation of Malang City Regulation. This research uses a ethnographic qualitative approach. Researchers uses the ethnographic approach due to examine the Punk Malang community from the perspective of group behavior and daily social life within the Pancasila state. The results of this research, the researcher found that some impacts of negotiation and the influences of the system. That is, first, not affected by the policy, at least seen from sticking to the attributes in the formal and non-formal environment, and still recognizing Punk ideologically. Second, the adaptation of Punk Malang in a limited way by not using attributes when they are in a formal place. Third, support and willing to disarm the attributes and behave like normal society. Last, Punk Malang ideologically will put off their identities while socializing with other people.

Artikel ini menggambarkan bentuk proses sistem diskriminasi subculture Punk Malang dan dampak negosiasi identitas, sehingga mengakibatkan subjektivitas nomadik di tengah penerapan Peraturan Daerah Kota Malang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan jenis kualitatif pendekatan etnografi. Pendekatan etnografi dipilih karena peneliti meneliti komunitas Punk Malang dari perspektif perilaku kelompok dan potret kehidupan sosial sehari-hari dalam negara Pancasila. Dari hasil studi penelitian ini menemukan beberapa dampak negosiasi maupun pengaruh sistem, yaitu pertama, tidak terpengaruh kebijakan, setidaknya dilihat dari tetap memakai atribut di lingkungan formal maupun non formal, dan masih mengakui Punk secara ideologis. Kedua, beradaptasi secara terbatas dengan cara tidak memakai atribut ketika di tempat formal. Ketiga, mendukung dan bersedia melucuti atribut dan bersikap seperti masyarakat pada umumnya. Keempat secara ideologis mereka masih tetap Punk, namun juga dibarengi pelepasan atribut yang melekat pada diri komunitas Punk.
