PENANAMAN SIKAP DISIPLIN SISWA MELALUI PROGRAM LITERASI DAN KEGIATAN EKSTRAKURIKULER PENCAK SILAT PSHT (PERSAUDARAAN SETIA HATI TERATE) DI SDN MERJOSARI 4 MALANG
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the instillation of student discipline through a morning literacy program and PSHT pencak silat extracurricular activities at 4 State Elementary School of Malang. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected via interviews, observations, and documentation involving teachers, instructors, and students. Data validity was ensured through method and source triangulation, while the analysis followed the Miles & Huberman interactive model. The findings indicate that both programs significantly contribute to shaping student discipline. The literacy program effectively fosters punctuality and compliance with academic rules, while PSHT instills disciplinary values through structured physical training, instructor role modeling, and personal responsibility. The synergy between these programs creates a school culture conducive to character strengthening. Key supporting factors include structured activities and educator support, whereas obstacles arise from diverse student backgrounds and fluctuations in individual motivation. This study concludes that integrating academic and non-academic activities based on local values optimizes disciplinary habituation in elementary education.
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penanaman sikap disiplin siswa melalui program literasi dan ekstrakurikuler pencak silat PSHT di SDN Merjosari 4 Malang. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi mekanisme internalisasi nilai disiplin dan pola interaksi di lingkungan sekolah. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru kelas, pembina ekstrakurikuler, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan, dan siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik snowball sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, serta dokumentasi, dengan uji keabsahan menggunakan triangulasi metode dan sumber. Analisis data menerapkan model interaktif Miles & Huberman yang mencakup kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa program literasi dan ekstrakurikuler PSHT berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pembentukan disiplin siswa. Program literasi efektif membangun ketepatan waktu dan kepatuhan aturan, sementara PSHT menginternalisasi disiplin melalui latihan fisik terstruktur, keteladanan pelatih, dan tanggung jawab pribadi. Sinergi kedua program ini menciptakan budaya sekolah yang holistik dalam mendukung penguatan karakter. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi keteraturan jadwal dan dukungan tenaga pendidik, sedangkan hambatan muncul dari heterogenitas latar belakang siswa serta fluktuasi motivasi individu. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi aktivitas akademik dan non-akademik berbasis nilai lokal mampu mempercepat habituasi disiplin di tingkat sekolah dasar.
