One of them is the Samin people who live in Bombong Hamlet, Baturejo Village, Sukolilo District, Pati Regency, who have unique customs in carrying out marriages. This research aims to explain the procedures and validity of marriage in the Samin community in Bombong Hamlet, Baturejo Village, Sukolilo District. As well as legal protection for marriages of the Samin community in Bombong hamlet, Baturejo Village, Sukolilo District. This research uses a type of field research, with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the research explain that there are several ways and legality of marriage in the Samin group, including narokke, mbalesi gunem, ngendek, ngenger-nyuwito, peningset, paseksen, tingkep. These conditions are conditions for legal marriage to be carried out by the Samin tribe. This is in accordance with the traditional pattern of indigenous communities, where they do things according to the culture that has been passed down from generation to generation from their ancestors. So, according to them, when the traditional process for carrying out a marriage has been fulfilled, they already consider that the marriage is valid. There is no need for marriage registration at a civil registration agency or religious affairs office.
