Abstract

Learning Arabic requires an innovative and interesting approach to motivate students and improve the quality of their learning. One approach that has received attention in educational literature is the use of arts and culture as a tool to increase creativity in Arabic language learning. The aim of this article is to review the concept and implementation of this approach and highlight its advantages in the context of Arabic language learning. The Arts and Culture approach opens the door to more enjoyable and meaningful learning by using elements such as fine arts, music, drama and Arabic literature. By using artistic and cultural works, students can engage in a holistic learning process, develop language skills, and expand their understanding of the cultural and historical context of the Arabic language. This article also discusses various strategies and techniques you can use when learning Arabic, from creating visual art based on language themes to directing plays and works of Arabic literature. In addition, we discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with implementing this approach, such as the availability of appropriate resources and teacher training. By increasing creativity in learning Arabic through an arts and culture approach, we hope that students will become more motivated and enthusiastic in developing their Arabic language skills and deepening their understanding of Arab culture as a whole.
