At this time, children are forming basic skills in relating to other people, recognizing their own emotions, and understanding empathy. Social interactions that occur in the family, school and community provide opportunities for children to learn about communication, cooperation and conflict resolution. Through healthy social interactions, children can build the ability to manage emotions, recognize other people's feelings, and develop self-confidence and social skills. the role of parents, teachers and peers in this process, as well as providing direction to create an environment that supports children's social-emotional growth.
