Abstract
Depression is a mental disorder that often occurs, affecting a person's emotions, thought patterns and behavior. This article explains the various factors that trigger depression, including genetic aspects, the environment, and certain medical conditions. Common signs of depression include long-lasting feelings of sadness, loss of interest in daily activities, changes in sleep patterns and appetite, and difficulty focusing. Additionally, this article discusses various ways to manage depression, such as psychological therapy, use of medication, and lifestyle changes that support mental well-being. Understanding depression well helps in early detection and appropriate treatment, so that sufferers' quality of life can be improved.
