Tingkatkan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris menggunakan lagu
Abstract
This research aims to determine the extent of the influence of using English songs in learning. The researcher observed that the difficulties faced by students are the challenges in memorizing new vocabulary in English, which hinders their language proficiency, particularly in English language learning. The literature study method was used by the author to collect data on the use of songs to enhance English language skills. They did this by evaluating previous research and searching various sources such as books, articles, and journals related to the discussed topic. This research found several important points about students' views on the use of English songs in learning. This research concludes that the use of English songs enhances and accelerates the mastery of vocabulary and English pronunciation, although there are still some obstacles, such as difficult-to-pronounce words and varying accents used by different singers. Through these challenges, students discovered ways to overcome obstacles that should be considered when lecturers teach using songs. There are various methods that can be utilized to enhance English speaking skills, with one of them being through the use of songs.
