Metode pendekatan tafsir rowa’i al-bayan tentang sumpah ila’ pada surat al-baqarah ayat 224-227
Abstract
This article examines the interpretive approach used in Rowa’i Al-Bayan to understand the verses about the Ila’ oath in Surah Al-Baqarah, verses 224-227. The tahlili method, which forms the basis of this tafsir, emphasizes a detailed analysis of each word and verse structure while considering linguistic context and related legal aspects. In these verses, Allah forbids using oaths as barriers to performing good deeds and provides specific guidelines for husbands who swear to abstain from relations with their wives (Ila’). Rowa’i Al-Bayan highlights the social and psychological aspects of Ila’, as well as the boundaries established by Islam to protect the rights of wives and prevent injustice. Additionally, this article discusses the legal relevance of the Ila’ oath in marital relationships and its implications for the psychological well-being and rights of wives. Through this approach, Rowa’i Al-Bayan offers a holistic understanding of the rules and wisdom behind the prohibition and allowance of the Ila’ oath, making this tafsir significant in Islamic legal exegesis studies.
