Implementation of 5S as a Religious Character Strengthening Model at MI Al Ma'arif 02 Singosari
Abstract
This study aims to examine the implementation of 5S as a model of strengthening religious character at MI Alma'arif 02 Singosari. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires. The research instruments used were observation sheets, interview guidelines, and questionnaires. The results showed that MI Al-Ma'arif 02 Singosari has succeeded in creating a conducive learning environment for student character building through the 5S program. By consistently applying noble values such as smile, greeting, salutation, politeness, and courtesy in every interaction, this school has succeeded in deeply instilling these values in students. The process of internalizing these values does not only occur in the classroom, but also in various extracurricular activities and social interactions in the school environment.
