Abstract

The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including education. ICT has become a crucial component in modern learning, providing broader access to learning resources, facilitating faster communication between students and teachers, and offering flexible online learning platforms. The use of ICT enables more varied teaching methods through interactive multimedia, simulations, and videos, making learning more engaging and effective. However, there are several challenges in implementing ICT, particularly in Indonesia, such as limited infrastructure, outdated multimedia devices in rural areas, high costs for acquiring ICT facilities, low teacher competence in using ICT, and issues related to student data security and privacy. Therefore, collaboration between the government, educational institutions, and educators is necessary to address these obstacles and ensure the equitable and inclusive implementation of ICT in education.
