Abstract

One form of information technology development is the extraordinary use of social media. Social media can be used as a means of language-related education and learning for students, especially at Islamic universities. Based on this, whether social media can have an impact on increasing Arabic vocabulary or not have an impact on students. The aim of this research is to determine the impact of social media on increasing Arabic vocabulary among students. This type of research is descriptive qualitative through observation. The results of the research conducted stated that there was an impact between the use of social media on increasing the vocabulary of students at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.
