Dampak media sosial bagi demokrasi
Abstract
Currently, social media has become a new force that shapes public space. Compared to traditional media, social media has great potential to create and distribute information in a more egalitarian manner. With these features, social media can certainly play a role in strengthening democracy by opening up public access to public spaces. By analyzing the emerging society, the relationship between social media and the media becomes clear. Social media has a huge impact on people's behavior, both positive and negative. Other people can easily access information and even market it to us. Social media provides access, then connects everyone through topics and discourse, even if that person has never been familiar with social media, democracy is fast and makes it easier for users to participate, especially in the realm of democracy.
