Penetapan awal puasa ramadhan dan integrasinya dengan perhitungan matematika
Keywords:

This article discusses the topic of determining the start of the month of Ramadhan and its integration using mathematical calculations. Determining the start of the month of Ramadhan is very important for Muslims, but the method used to determine it can vary in various regions. In this article, the author explains how mathematical calculations can be implemented as an alternative approach to determining when the month of Ramadhan begins. The mathematical calculation method explained in this article involves Ijtimak, Hisab, Rukyatul Hilal and Istikmal. In its conclusion, this article concludes that with knowledge related to understanding the integration of mathematics and astronomy, it is hoped that Muslims will be minimally lost in understanding the dichotomy of science and can place mathematics and astronomy into one unit that is difficult to separate from other branches of science. Because in fact all branches of knowledge come from the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah (hadist).
