Tinjauan akulturasi budaya dan agama dalam masyarakat adat Busu Desa Slamparejo

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the acculturation of culture and religion in the busu  indigenous community of Slamparejo village affects and shapes the identity and social and  cultural development in the community. The research method used is a qualitative method with  a descriptive approach to describe each variable. The data collection techniques used in this  research are interviews and literature studies. The object of research is the indigenous people of  Busu hamlet, Slamparejo village, which includes every group of people who are members and  participate in cultural activities. The results showed that cultural acculturation in Slamparejo  Village resulted in a rich and diverse identity, harmonizing religion and culture. Despite facing  challenges, the community managed to manage diversity with dialog and tolerance. The busu  indigenous people of Slamparejo Village demonstrate that cultural and religious acculturation  enriches and preserves the community and proves Islam and local culture can coexist and  mutually enrich the culture. This review shows that diversity becomes a strength, not a  weakness, when people value the differences that exist.
