Abstrak

 

 

Krama Inggil language is one of the levels of Javanese language that is rich in cultural and traditional values. However, amidst the globalization and dominance of Indonesian and foreign languages, the use of Krama Inggil language has significantly declined. This article discusses the importance of preserving the tradition of Krama Inggil language, the challenges faced in its preservation, and concrete efforts that can be made to revive this language among the younger generation. By understanding the meaning and function of Krama Inggil language, it is hoped that the younger generation can appreciate and preserve this cultural heritage. The challenges of globalization, the influence of social media, and the perception that this language is old-fashioned must be overcome through creative approaches such as in-depth education, integration into arts and culture, and the use of social media.
