Perjalanan waktu sastra: analisis karya-karya klasik hingga kontemporer
Abstract
Arabic literature has high artistic value and is a valuable heritage of Arab civilization. Ancient Arabic literary works are proof of the glory of this civilization. However, studying Arabic literature is quite challenging because of the complex richness of the Arabic language. This research aims to reveal the characteristics, history and development of Arabic literature in the West Asian region. The research results show that Arabic literature has experienced many changes over time, following developments in time and society. Adab (literature) is everything that is produced by the mind, it can be concluded that literature is the expression of deep feelings and thoughts, colored by aesthetic values, and poured into the form of works that have certain structures and rules, adab (literature) has different characteristics in each era from the theme, content, language style, structure and focus.
