Masa kebangkitan nasional dan periode setelah proklamasi kemerdekaan
Abstract
The National Awakening Period was an important period in the history of this nation which marked the birth of the spirit of nationalism at the beginning of the 20th century, starting with the founding of Indonesia's first modern organization, namely Budi Utomo, in 1908. This organization became a symbol of the beginning of the Indonesian nation's struggle against the colonial nation, which later culminating in the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence on 17 August 1945. After the proclamation of independence, the Indonesian nation had to face tough challenges, both internal and external, in maintaining national sovereignty and building a stable government. This struggle requires a high level of enthusiasm to be able to unite aspects of the nation so that it is able to face threats that come from parties outside the Indonesian nation who do not recognize Indonesian independence. The period of national awakening up to its peak, namely the proclamation of independence, was not just a historical phase, but became a strong foundation or foundation for the formation of national identity and national sovereignty. And through this very long and challenging struggle, the spirit of nationalism has increasingly strengthened, so that it has become the main foundation for building the nation in the future.
