Optimizing the Indonesian Smart College Card (KIPK) Program in Citizenship Education has a strategic role in forming a young generation who is superior, intelligent and has character. Citizenship education contributes to the formation of moral values, strengthening anti-corruption education, national integration, introducing national identity and understanding the rights and obligations as citizens. This article aims to highlight the importance of synergy between the KIPK program and citizenship education in everyday life in order to produce a highly competitive generation. The research method used in this writing uses a literature review by analyzing various literature from journals, books, theses and other relevant sources. The results of the study show that if the KIPK program is optimized through citizenship education, it will have a significant positive impact on the quality of the younger generation both in terms of intellectual and civic character. It is believed that this implementation can support the grand vision of Golden Indonesia 2045 by creating superior human resources with good character.
