Abstract

The use of social media in the current era of technological development is increasingly being used by all levels of society, including in universities, especially students. The positive side for students is that they can share learning materials, find academic information, and a means of interacting with friends or family. Besides the positive side of social media, of course there is a negative side. Using media excessively makes it difficult for individuals to control themselves in using social media, which can lead to excessive addiction. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of social media on students' academic productivity.
