A Literasi Digital: Suatu Keharusan di Era Revolusi Industri 4.0
Abstract
The Industrial Revolution 4.0 era is marked by rapid advancements in digital technology. These changes affect various aspects of human life, from how we communicate to how we work. In this situation, digital literacy has become an essential skill that every individual must possess to survive and thrive amidst these fast-paced changes. Digital literacy does not merely refer to the ability to use technological devices such as computers and smartphones. Beyond that, it includes critical understanding of information conveyed through digital media, ethical use of technology, and the ability to adapt to ever-evolving technological advancements. This article aims to examine the importance of digital literacy in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the challenges faced by society, and concrete steps to enhance digital literacy skills. Based on literature reviews and data analysis, it has been found that digital literacy is the key to overcoming various challenges of this era while maximizing the opportunities available. Some challenges in improving digital literacy include the lack of access to technology in certain areas, low public awareness of the importance of digital literacy, and the limited availability of training programs.
