Tari kecak di era globalisasi
Perjuangan melestarikan budaya lokal sebagai identitas nasional
Keywords:
Kecak dance, cultural preservation, national identity, globalization, local cultureAbstract
Kecak Dance is one of Indonesia's cultural heritages originating from Bali, rich in spiritual, social, and philosophical values. In the midst of the rapid flow of globalization and the influence of foreign cultures, the existence of this dance faces various challenges, such as commercialization, declining interest of the younger generation, and inappropriate changes in cultural meaning. In fact, Kecak Dance is a reflection of national identity that is in line with the values of Pancasila, such as Divinity, unity, and mutual cooperation. Therefore, the preservation of Kecak Dance is very important to maintain the identity of the Indonesian nation. With the support of cultural education, arts communities, and government policies, Kecak Dance can continue to develop as a symbol of culture and national identity amidst increasingly complex global competition.
