Abstract

This research discusses the development of Indonesia's geostrategy concept from 1962 to the present, and its implications for national resilience. Geostrategy, which is a combination of geography and strategy, serves as a strategic approach to utilizing Indonesia's geographical conditions in achieving national goals. This research identifies key stages in the development of geostrategy, from its initial development by the Army Staff and Command School (SSKAD) to the affirmation of the concept of National Resilience. It also explores the challenges Indonesia faces in the global context, including non-military threats and climate change. The results show that strengthening national resilience through a comprehensive geostrategy is essential to maintain the nation's sovereignty and welfare amid complex global dynamics.
