Abstract

This article discusses the role of youth in building and preserving Indonesia's national identity, focusing on the hopes, actions, and challenges faced by the younger generation. As agents of change, youth are expected to strengthen the values of Pancasila, safeguard diversity, and advance the nation through various aspects of life, including education, social engagement, and technology. However, youth also face significant challenges such as globalization, the influence of foreign cultures, and the threat of the spread of fake news that can undermine national unity. Through a deep understanding of the nation's history, active participation in social and political development, and the ability to innovate, youth play a strategic role in reinforcing national identity. This article emphasizes the importance of the youth's role in preserving the unity and cohesion of the Indonesian nation amidst the complexities of an ever-changing era.
