This study aims to analyze the risk management strategy of non-performing financing (NPF) in Islamic banking and provide the effectiveness of the policies implemented. In the Islamic banking system, financing based on mudharabah and musyarakah contracts has a high level of license that requires more careful risk management. The risk of non-performing financing can have a significant impact on profitability and customer confidence. Through literature study and secondary data analysis, this study found that risk mitigation strategies include analysis of the application of 5C, financing restructuring, utilization of information technology, and the use of data-based early warning systems. In addition, the success of risk management is strongly influenced by the quality of human resources and the level of Islamic financial literacy of customers. The results show that a holistic and Shariah-compliant approach can improve banks' resilience to risk and strengthen financial stability. Therefore, strengthening internal capacity, technological innovation, and synergy with external institutions are important steps in building an effective and sustainable financing risk management system.
