Mengoptimalkan imunitas iman generasi z melalui pengajaran akidah yang sesuai dengan karakteristiknya

Abstract

Islamic education in the digital era faces challenges in delivering religious teachings to Generation Z, who are highly familiar with technology and have unique learning characteristics. This study aims to optimize the faith immunity of Generation Z through teaching strategies in aqidah and ethics that align with their traits. The method used is a literature review with a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings show that the use of digital technology, such as learning applications and social media, is effective in increasing learning interest and shaping strong spiritual character among Generation Z. Furthermore, this study found that an interactive, contextual, and value-based learning approach can strengthen the internalization of faith in students. Faith teaching delivered in simple, dialogical language, and linking current issues relevant to Generation Z's daily lives, has proven to be more easily accepted and understood. Therefore, strengthening faith immunity depends not only on knowledge transfer but also on developing spiritual experiences relevant to their world. This study recommends integrating innovative pedagogical strategies with the use of digital technology so that faith education can foster a generation that is faithful, critical, and resilient in facing global challenges.
