National identity is a crucial foundation for shaping unity and integrity in Indonesia’s multicultural society. However, in the era of globalization, national values face significant challenges, including identity crises among youth, the influx of foreign cultures, and the weakening of Pancasila values. This study aims to analyze the role of national identity in strengthening national integration, identify implementation challenges amid globalization, and evaluate how national identity values can be applied in everyday life. This is a literature study using content analysis of Faslah's book(Faslah, 2024), Zainuddin's research report (2014), and related scientific articles. The findings show that national identity can serve as a unifying tool when supported by inclusive education, cultural symbolism, and character development rooted in youth’s constructive mental attitudes. The implementation of national identity values requires cross-sectoral collaboration to address contemporary challenges strategically and sustainably.
