Peran pendidikan terhadap nasionalisme dalam mewujudkan rasa cinta tanah air di indonesia
Abstract
Nationalism education plays an important role in shaping the character and identity of the nation, especially in fostering love for the country among the younger generation. Through a structured and sustainable education process, national values such as unity, integrity, tolerance, and the spirit of mutual cooperation are instilled early on. Nationalism education not only strengthens national identity as a sovereign and cultured nation, but also serves as a means to shape ethics and morals in the life of the nation. In the context of increasingly open globalization, challenges to national identity and the fading of the spirit of nationalism are becoming increasingly apparent. Therefore, the integration of nationalism values in the education curriculum is essential to build collective awareness of the importance of maintaining the sovereignty, diversity and integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). Education that prioritizes moral and national values can create a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent, but also has integrity and loyalty to the homeland. Thus, nationalism education becomes the main foundation in strengthening the spirit of nationalism and realizing a society that is ethical, moral, and has a deep love for Indonesia.
