Non-Performing Financing (NPF) is one of the main challenges in maintaining the stability and sustainability of Islamic banks. This article aims to analyze the effectiveness of risk management in mitigating financing problems, particularly through the strategies and policies implemented by Islamic banks in Indonesia. The study examines how strategies such as the 5C creditworthiness analysis, active monitoring, financing restructuring, empowerment of microfinance customers, and portfolio diversification can reduce the potential for NPF. In addition, the effectiveness of these efforts is strengthened by risk management policies that are adaptive to digitalization, responsive to macroeconomic conditions, and consistent with sharia principles and national regulations. The findings show that structured and integrated risk management significantly reduces NPF levels, improves the quality of financing portfolios, and enhances the resilience of Islamic banks to economic shocks. Therefore, effective risk management serves not only as a technical tool but also as a strategic pillar in supporting the healthy, inclusive, and sustainable growth of the Islamic banking industry in accordance with the objectives of maqashid sharia.
