Dampak krisis global terhadap stabilitas risiko operasional di perbankan syariah
Abstract
This article reviews how the global crisis impacts the stability of operational risk in Islamic banks. Crises such as the 2008 financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic exerted significant pressure on operational activities, ranging from disruptions in information technology systems to an increased risk of errors in internal processes due to high workloads. This study identifies several factors that affect the operational resilience of Islamic banks, including the readiness of digital infrastructure, human resource capabilities, effectiveness of internal policies, and regulatory responses from authorities. The discussion results highlight the importance of strengthening technology systems, enhancing employee competencies, implementing early detection systems for operational disruptions, and refining business continuity plans. These findings are expected to serve as a reference in formulating robust and responsive operational risk management strategies to the dynamics of global crises.
