Pemanfaatan sampah daun kering menjadi briket arang untuk mengatasi banyaknya limbah daun kering di uin maulana malik ibrahim malang
Keywords:
Briquette, dried leaves, organic waste, fuel, economyAbstract
State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang has a fairly large green open space surrounded by trees. This can produce piled up dry leaf waste. Based on direct observation of the problems encountered by researchers, researchers have a goal, namely to process piled dry leaf waste from trees into something that can benefit others. Therefore, research was conducted on utilizing dry leaf waste into charcoal briquettes as an environmentally friendly energy alternative. This innovation is expected to reduce the volume of organic waste while adding value by producing an economical solid fuel. The briquette-making process involves drying, carbonization, grinding, mixing with adhesives, and molding and re-drying. In this way, previously unused leaf waste can be processed into a useful product and support environmental sustainability programs on campus.
