Maslahat dan mudarat pernikahan dini: dalam pandangan islam
Abstract
Marriage at a young age, commonly referred to as early marriage, continues to occur in various communities, particularly in regions where educational attainment and religious insight are limited. Islam regards marriage as a sacred duty and a means of safeguarding one’s dignity. Although early marriage is not strictly prohibited in Islamic law, the religion emphasizes the necessity of physical, psychological, and emotional preparedness for both parties. This article explores early marriage through an Islamic lens, reviewing scriptural evidence and evaluating its potential benefits and drawbacks The aim is to present a comprehensive perspective so that early marriage decisions are made wisely, responsibly, and in a way that supports the development of a stable and virtuous family.
