Tinjauan dari segi teori dan praktik
Abstract
Al-Qur'an is a holy book that must be believed in and applied in everyday life. The Qur'an is the most important source of Islamic law, and it is the most important basis of Islamic law. Additionally, the Qur'an is seen as an antidote and a source of law distinguishing between right and wrong, serving as a guide to the straight path. In practice, understanding the Qur'an and Hadith as life's guide influences Muslim obedience in religious commands. This article discusses the Qur'an as a source of Islamic law in theory and practice. It explains that the Qur'an is the main and first source of Islamic law, containing basic teachings and general principles regulating human life. Furthermore, several methods and criteria used to determine law from Qur'an verses are described, such as context, meaning, nash, ijma, qiyas, and others. This article also presents examples of Islamic law's application derived from the Qur'an in worship, muamalah, jinayah, and munakahat. It emphasizes that the Qur'an remains relevant and dynamic as a source of Islamic law in modern times, considering scientific and technological developments and societal needs. This article is useful for readers seeking deeper understanding of the Qur'an as an Islamic legal source and the ways to determine laws from Allah's revelation.
