The quality of Islamic education in madrasahs is not only measured by academic performance but also includes the spiritual and character development of students. The principal plays a central role in improving education quality through effective managerial approaches and appropriate leadership styles. This study aims to examine the role of transformational leadership in shaping a quality-oriented culture within Islamic educational institutions. Using a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, the findings show that principals who apply transformational leadership can increase teacher participation, foster innovation in teaching, and enhance community engagement. Additionally, a sustainable internal quality evaluation system supports continuous improvement in the learning process and character development. The study recommends regular managerial training for madrasah principals and the reinforcement of quality assurance systems within Islamic education settings.
