Implementasi Program MBKM di Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN)

Abstract
The Independent Learning and Independent Campus (MBKM) program provides students with opportunities to study off-campus through collaborations with research institutions. This article discusses the implementation of the MBKM program at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Yogyakarta, based on the author's experience as a student at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang for six months. The main focus is collaboration between students and researchers in ongoing research activities. Observations indicate that this program improves students' understanding of research methods, critical thinking skills, and collaboration skills within scientific teams. In addition to academic benefits, this program also broadens students' insights into the world of national research. This article concludes that the implementation of MBKM at BRIN supports the development of student competencies and encourages the creation of an inclusive research ecosystem between universities and research institutions.
