Korelasi Uang Panai(Jujuran) Adat Masyarakat Suku Bugis Dengan Besaran Mahar Suku Jawa dan Madura Perspektif Stratifikasi Sosial[1]
Abstract
This article contains the position of dowry in the Bugis-Makassar traditional society with the position of dowry in the Javanese and Madurese traditional societies, where both have similarities but in the perspective of social stratification, both have different meanings. Therefore, in this case the author will discuss the relationship between dowry in Bugis society with dowry in Javanese and Madurese customs when associated with social stratification. Because according to the researcher, it is important to know the position of both in the social stratification of indigenous peoples who have a strong culture with both of these things.
