Gerakan Pramuka Sebagai Wadah Pembinaan Generasi Muda Menuju Indonesia Emas 2045
Abstract
The Scout Movement plays a strategic role in shaping Indonesia’s young generation to be characterized, competitive, and nationally minded. This article aims to analyze the role of scouting as a youth development platform towards Golden Indonesia 2045, the vision of Indonesia becoming a developed country at its centenary of independence. This study applies a literature review method by examining regulations, official reports, and both national and international research findings. The results show that scouting contributes in three main aspects: character education, strengthening national identity, and developing 21st-century skills. However, challenges remain, including the declining interest of Generation Z, limited capacity of scoutmasters, and weak integration of activities with digital developments. To address these challenges, revitalizing the scouting curriculum, modernizing activities through digitalization, strengthening scoutmaster competencies, and integrating with national programs and global networks are required. Therefore, the Scout Movement has great potential to be a front-line force in preparing Indonesia’s golden generation to face global challenges.
