Prespektif historis dan relavansinya bagi masa depan
Abstract
Pancasila is the foundation of the state and the ideology of the Indonesian nation, born through a long and dynamic historical process. The noble values contained in each of the Pancasila principles reflect the nation's identity, character, and outlook on life. This study aims to examine the historical foundations of Pancasila's birth and analyze its relevance for the future of the nation and state. The method used is a library study by examining historical documents, academic literature, and laws related to Pancasila. The results show that Pancasila has strong historical roots in the culture, traditions, and struggles of the Indonesian nation. These values remain relevant to address the challenges of globalization, technological disruption, and the moral crisis facing the younger generation. Consistent implementation of Pancasila is necessary in education, public policy formation, and daily life practices to strengthen national unity, justice, and resilience. Thus, Pancasila is not only a historical legacy, but also a dynamic guideline capable of directing national development towards a future that is just, character-based, and culturally distinct. understanding of national identity dynamics in the social media era and serves as a conceptual foundation for future research on youth resistance toward corrupt political systems.
