Abstract

Islamic banking is a vital component of the national financial system, based on Islamic sharia principles. The growth of Islamic banks in Indonesia requires the support of superior, competent, and virtuous human resources (HR). This article aims to analyze HR management strategies for improving the performance of Islamic banks by integrating findings from various scientific studies. The study is based on literature from six relevant journals addressing aspects of recruitment, transformational leadership, Islamic culture, Islamic work ethics, compensation, and work-life balance. The results indicate that the success of Islamic banks depends not only on the efficiency of work systems but also on the application of Islamic values in every managerial activity. Effective strategies include morality- and competency-based recruitment, Qur'anic training, the application of Islamic culture and work ethics, fair compensation, and transformational leadership oriented toward worship. The integration of modern management systems with Islamic spiritual values has been shown to increase the motivation, organizational commitment, and work productivity of Islamic bank employees
