Strategi bank syariah dalam menghadapi persaingan dengan bank konvensional
Abstract
Islamic banks in Indonesia face intense competition with conventional banks, particularly in digitalization and customer service. This study aims to analyze strategic management approaches that can enhance the competitiveness of Islamic banks in the modern era. The study employs a literature review method by examining several scholarly works available in the repository of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The findings identify four key strategies: integration of fintech-based digital services, partnerships with micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), service innovation rooted in Islamic values, and strengthened risk management. These strategies indicate that Islamic banks’ competitiveness is shaped not only by technological adaptation but also by the consistent application of Sharia principles in all operational aspects. By combining spiritual values with digital innovation, Islamic banks can emerge as modern financial institutions that maintain both trust and moral integrity.
