Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic banking in implementing strategic management in the digital economy era. Digital transformation has driven significant changes in the global financial system and requires Islamic banking to adapt to technological innovation without neglecting Islamic principles. Using qualitative methods through literature review and a case study of Bank Mega Syariah, this study highlights four key strategic dimensions: digital transformation, differentiation and competitive advantage, risk management and digital governance, and social and educational roles. The results show that the success of Islamic banking is highly dependent on the ability to integrate financial technology with the values ​​of the maqasid of Islamic banking. Bank Mega Syariah serves as an example of effective digital strategy implementation through innovative application-based services and products. This confirms that adaptive strategic management to digital developments is a crucial factor in increasing competitiveness and strengthening the contribution of Islamic banking to the national economy.
