Telaah Bacaan Sholat sebagai Pemantapan Kesehatan Mental Muslim
Abstract
This study aims to examine the meaning of prayer recitations as a means of strengthening Muslim mental health. In Islam, prayer (shalat) plays a crucial role in maintaining psychological balance and emotional well-being. This article applies a literature review method analyzing scholarly works concerning the interrelation between religious practice and mental health in the framework of Islamic psychology. The findings reveal that prayer recitations containing supplications, remembrance (dhikr), and spiritual reflection significantly reduce stress, enhance self-regulation, and promote emotional stability.
Furthermore, prayer serves as a form of spiritual therapy supporting psychological healing. In conclusion, shalat has a therapeutic value that can be integrated into modern psychoreligious therapeutic models.
