This study examines the application of nahwu elements in classical Islamic texts through an analysis of kana wa akhawātuhā in Safinatun Najah by Shaykh Salim bin Sumair Al-Hadrami. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms, functions, and meanings of kana wa akhawātuhā as used in the grammatical structures of the text. Employing a descriptive-analytical approach and a library research method, this study identifies and analyzes the occurrences of kana wa akhawātuhā within the corpus. The findings reveal that kana wa akhawātuhā in Safinatun Najah not only function grammatically as amil nāqiṣ, raising the ism and assigning the khabar to the accusative, but also contribute to strengthening the legal meaning conveyed in the fiqh context. This indicates the deep interrelation between linguistic structure and religious message. Therefore, this study contributes to the understanding of how nahwu operates within classical fiqh texts and enriches the broader field of Arabic linguistic studies focused on religious discourse.
