Efisiensi Operasional Bank Aceh Syariah
Analisis Rasio BOPO 2020–2024
Abstract
This study aims to assess the operational efficiency of PT Bank Aceh Syariah during the 2020–2024 period by using the BOPO ratio as the main performance indicator. The data were obtained from the published financial reports of Bank Aceh Syariah and analyzed through a quantitative descriptive approach to observe trends and annual changes. The analysis results show that BOPO decreased from 81.50% in 2020 to 76.66% in 2022, indicating improved efficiency. In 2023–2024, there was a slight increase to 77.44%, reflecting cost pressures that still need to be managed. Overall, the five-year performance shows an improvement in efficiency, although it is not yet consistent. These findings emphasize the need to strengthen cost control strategies, optimize service-based income, and accelerate process digitalization to maintain long-term efficiency This research is expected to provide input for Islamic banking management as well as enrich studies on the operational efficiency of regional banks.
