Peran Pancasila dalam mewujudkan kepemimpinan berintegritas di Indonesia
Analisis Nilai-Nilai Pancasila dalam Penguatan Etika Kepemimpinan Nasional
Abstract
Pancasila, as the philosophical foundation of the Indonesian state, plays a vital role in shaping leaders with strong integrity. However, the persistence of corruption, abuse of power, and weakened public ethics indicates that the values of Pancasila have not been fully internalized within leadership practices. This study aims to analyze the role of Pancasila in fostering integrity-based leadership and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. The research employs a literature-based approach by reviewing academic sources, national regulations, and relevant scholarly works of lecturers. The findings reveal that the values of Pancasila offer a comprehensive ethical framework for cultivating leaders who are honest, fair, responsible, and committed to the public good. Integrity-based leadership can be realized through the internalization of divine values, respect for human dignity, collective commitment, deliberative principles, and social justice. Nevertheless, its implementation faces challenges such as political pragmatism, weak role modeling, and insufficient character education. This study concludes that strengthening leadership integrity requires revitalizing Pancasila education, ensuring consistent law enforcement, and promoting synergy between state institutions and educational bodies. Therefore, Pancasila remains an essential ethical and normative foundation for developing national leadership that is clean and integrity-driven.
