Diversity is an essential part of human life and provides space for the creation of peaceful social relations. Q.S. al-Hujurat verse 13 reminds people that differences are part of God’s decree, guiding them to recognize one another and build healthy interactions. This message is reinforced by a Prophetic hadith that emphasizes openness, respect for differences, and the importance of preserving human dignity. These values show that Islam encourages inclusive attitudes, rejects discriminatory behavior, and supports the development of a harmonious social environment. The discussion highlights that respectful communication, mutual understanding, and a strong commitment to unity are key foundations for peaceful coexistence. Diversity is not merely something to be accepted but an opportunity to strengthen cooperation and deepen mutual understanding. This analysis also notes that the messages contained in the verse and hadith remain highly relevant to today’s increasingly plural society, offering guidance for building more just and peaceful social relation.
