Parenting is an important factor in shaping children's mental health and psychological development. This study aims to understand how parenting patterns contribute to the formation of trauma and mental health conditions through epistemological analysis. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method to explore the relationship between parenting patterns and psychological trauma and their impact on long-term mental health. The results show that authoritarian parenting, emotional neglect, and domestic violence significantly contribute to the formation of trauma, which manifests itself in various mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and personality disorders.
