Implementasi kegiatan karang taruna RW 01 Kelurahan Tunggulwulung dalam meningkatkan kepedulian sosial
Abstract
This study aims to describe the implementation of activities conducted by Karang Taruna RW 01 in Tunggul Wulung Village and analyze their influence on enhancing youth social awareness. Using a mixed methods explanatory sequential approach, the research combines quantitative data from questionnaires with qualitative data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings show that youth social awareness is categorized as high, covering empathy, solidarity, and social action. Qualitative results support this, indicating that activities such as community clean-ups, fundraising, and cultural events foster positive interaction, a sense of togetherness, and social responsibility. However, technological influence and lifestyle changes pose challenges to youth participation. Overall, Karang Taruna plays a significant role as a platform for developing social character and strengthening social capital within the community.
