Krisis konsentrasi belajar di era digital: tinjauan pendidikan islam terhadap ketergantungan gadget pada anak
Abstract
The development of digital technology has brought about major transformations in the world of education, but the increased use of gadgets by children also presents new challenges, particularly related to decreased concentration and learning outcomes. That article aims to examine the educational crisis emerging in the digital age by emphasizing the link between gadget addiction and children’s reduced ability to focus. The writing approach use a literature review method of various research findings regarding gadget use, psychological effects, cognitive function, and children’s academic achievement. The study result reveal that excessive gadget use can cause attention disorders, decreased working memory capacity, anxiety, and reduced social interaction. The discussion combines cognitive development theory with current research data to demonstrate a close relationship between unsupervised exposure to digital devices and the quality of children’s learning processes. This article emphasizes the importance of this problem as an urgent issue that requires structured address through collaboration between parents, educators, and educational institutions.
