explore children’s motor development through thematic role-play activities in early childhood education settings. Role-play is a form of symbolic play that allows children to express themselves, exercise body movements, and naturally develop both fine and gross motor skills through structured or spontaneous activities. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method with participants from A and B groups in a PAUD institution. Data were collected through direct observation, documentation, and interviews with classroom teachers. The findings indicate that thematic role-play significantly enhances children’s movement coordination, body flexibility, fine motor accuracy, and manipulative abilities. These results highlight that role-play serves not only as a medium for social-emotional development but also as an effective strategy for stimulating motor development. This study implies that early childhood educators should design more varied, structured, and theme-adjusted role-play activities.
