Efektivitas media interaktif baamboozle dalam meningkatkan minat belajar bahasa arab siswa
Abstract
Learning Arabic is often considered difficult by students due to differences in language structure, pronunciation, and complex vocabulary, which results in low interest in learning. In this context, learning media has a strategic role in creating learning that is more interesting, interactive, and meaningful. This article aims to examine the relevance of using Baamboozle learning media as an innovative strategy to increase student interest in learning Arabic. The theoretical study covers the concepts of learning interest, indicators of interest, factors that influence interest, as well as the classification and criteria of learning media. The discussion shows that Baamboozle qualifies as an audiovisual and multimedia medium that supports active learning through gamification mechanisms, healthy competition, emotional stimuli, and interactions that encourage student participation. Although there are limitations such as technology access or teacher readiness, implementation opportunities remain wide open. Thus, Baamboozle has the potential to be an effective medium for increasing interest in learning Arabic.
